Sue Arndt

Volunteer  Coach

Coach Sue Arndt brings 34 years of high school and club volleyball coaching experience to Emmaus. She began her career with Emmaus High School Girls, leading them to their first and only District 11 Championship in 1995. In 1999, she launched the program at Catasauqua High School, serving as head coach for the girls' team for nine years and guiding them to a District runner-up finish in 2007.


Coach Sue spent 25 years coaching Girls Club Volleyball for Crosscourt, achieving multiple National appearances. In 2015, she transitioned to coaching boys volleyball, joining Velocity Boys Volleyball Club as Head Coach of the 18-1 team, securing three National appearances along the way. She now serves as Co-Director of Velocity and has been pivotal in establishing the National level teams. In 2017, Sue became the Head Coach for Northampton Boys Volleyball, leading them to their first District 11 Championship in 2022. Also in 2022 Coach Sue was named Lehigh Valley Express Times and Morning Call Coach of the Year. 


Her passion for coaching is evident in her dedication to developing successful student-athletes on and off the court. Coach Sue looks forward to being back at Emmaus and serving as a volunteer coach under her daughters, Jessi and Lindsay.
